***Please send a zipped or archived folder of images when emailing or use a viewing platform rather than a lot of individual jpegs. Also PLEASE ONLY SEND WHAT IS ASKED FOR AND NOTHING ELSE! If emailing a folder, please give it your name and the general subject also. To archive a folder on a Mac, right click the mouse on a folder and choose 'Create Archive' so that a new compacted folder is formed and can be emailed. I'm not sure if older Macs will do this or not. It's easier than attaching individual jpegs to your email message and will save me a lot of time in downloading and organizing images. Also, it would be helpful if the digital metadata is filled out In Adobe Bridge or Photoshop if you are able to. Otherwise, please send the caption and credit info and I will add it. If you aren't able to do this, then you may send the regular way.
Please keep in mind that I cannot place jpegs onto our FTP site with file names longer than 12 characters so please shorten. Long file names will jam up the site. |

Editions customized for students with learning disabilities, difficulty learning to read or learning English as a second language.
Special formats for individuals with disabilities who are unable to read print in a conventional manner to be sublicensed for publication in whole or in part on a non-profit basis.
Facsimiles of Student Materials and/or Teacher Materials (including, without limitation, screen shots and covers) for related marketing and promotional materials (including, without limitation, sample copies which may be distributed prior to first sale date), or which may appear on other components or products.
Extensions: Actual distribution will depend on demand for the program in the marketplace. In the event Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Publishing Company (HMH) needs additional rights or clearance or the original print run is extended, HMH will notify the image supplier and will be invoiced accordingly based on prices that are no less favorable than supplier’s then prevailing standard pricing for similar images and uses. For other rights and clearances, the parties shall negotiate in good faith regarding the applicable price, also based on supplier’s then prevailing standard pricing for similar images and uses. HMH is seeking a license that will allow HMH to use the requested items for all terms outlined above to ensure continuity of instructional materials to its customers. In the event that HMH is subject to contractual obligations that extend beyond the term of this license, this license shall allow HMH to continue to meet any and all obligations to such customers. |
