4.01a Picture of a sports performer, e.g. a hurdler or long jumper in take off phase (artwork of bones will to be drawn to go over this image so please bear this in mind). It needs to show as much of the body as possible and needs to be current.
4.07b Picture showing a person carrying out a sporting action using the type of joint movement described. The picture doesn’t have to show the whole person. It could focus in, although not too closely, on the joint moving: hinge – kicking a ball. Needs to show the leg being drawn back to kick the ball (with the knee bent).
4.10b Picture showing a person carrying out a sporting action using the type of joint movement described. The picture doesn’t have to show the whole person. It could focus in, although not too closely, on the joint moving: condyloid – someone tipping their head forward as in yoga or dance.
4.16a, b X-rays of the human body with the main bones in the body visible - one of the front of the body and one of the back of the body.
4.19 Photograph of a marathon runner, someone famous and recent.
4.23a, b Photographs of the same person performing a press up, one of them pushing up from the floor, and one of them lowering themselves back to the floor
4.24a, b A frontal MRI scan and a back MRI scan, to mirror the x-rays for 4.16a and b
4.30 Photograph of a dissected, healthy heart, with the four chambers and the main arteries and veins clearly showing.
4.34 Photograph of a dissected lung, with all of these clearly showing: Trachea, Bronchi, Bronchioles, Alveoli, Intercostal muscles and Diaphragm
5.01a, f Current, medical type photographs of the actual injuries for a concussion and a fracture (someone on a stretcher with leg strapped up for this one) - if they can be in a sporting context that would be even better.
5.05a A photo of immediately after the injury of a fracture has been sustained in a sporting context.
5.07 Photograph of player being tackled dangerously during a football game. A shot of the boot, with the studs clearly visible, heading towards or making contact with the tibia or knee would be good. needs to be a two-footed tackle or studs connecting with the opponents leg in a dangerous fashion (something similar to Martin Taylor on Eduardo). Needs to show the tackle more than the subsequent injury though.
5.12 A recent photo of someone suffering from a sports injury. It should be gory but not shocking, so perhaps someone with a bloody nose after a tackle in football, rugby, netball of basketball (not receiving treatment)
5.15 Picture of someone being treated for a minor illness (cold/flu, hayfever, nose bleed, stomach upset). A nosebleed would probably be best. They should be in a sporting context and with more focus on the treatment.
5.17 Photograph of someone suffering from hypothermia in a sporting context |
