More Power to Image Buyers!

Here at PD we value our buyers for choosing to deal with our photographers direct. That's why we are juicing up the website to make it a more powerful tool for finding that perfect image. You can plug into the new features and play with them right now: when you visit photographersdirect.com you will see a link to the developmental website, which has better ways to search and view our collection of stunning images, greater control over making a specific request, and more flexibility in working with image collections on lightboxes. All now useable on smaller display screens. Do give the new features a try, and please feel free to feed your reactions and suggestions back to me at andieg@photographersdirect.com.

Our featured photographers this issue have powerful images for you too. David Kimber's Car Photo Library is not just about glamorous images of cars (though it has those too!). The library now includes photos of cars beyond the usual. HOsiHO also has a less than ordinary perspective, of the French landscape - from the air! If these are the kinds of extraordinary images you desire, be sure to use the special 15% discount for readers of this newsletter. Julie Woodhouse offers a large collection of amazing photos from all over less-discovered Germany, and further afield in Europe. Proof that images of Germany needn't just be of the Brandenburg Gate, Oktoberfest, and castles on The Rhine. Kevin Palmer's group of creatives also have the power to get your images off the beaten track. They even have their own generators! Steven Greaves' travel photography goes off-track too, and captures images at the heart of the places he explores. Check out his new website design, and especially his recent candid photos of India. Rounding off our contributors is Salem Alforaih, who's new website has fascinating images of Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

Photographers Direct. We give you the power to stun!

Discovered peacefully rusting away in an isolated and overgrown French scrapyard, this 1950s Citroen 2CV has clearly reached the end of its working life.

About as far as you can get from the glossy and expensive cars usually featured in The Car Photo Library, this image is part of a new collection looking at rather different aspects of the motoring world.

Contact library manager David Kimber for more details.
