Before you start the polar expedition to the recycle bin, take up one of the ten green bottles from the New Year celebrations and turn on the faucet; just a trickle now. Stare in wonder at the physics of the stream as it demi-circumnavigates the emerald glass before being caught by Mr Newton's gravity again. It goes by the charming name of the Coanda Effect.

Martyn Chillmaid would like to wish all past, present and future colleagues and customers a very happy and prosperous New Year. He provides not just the photo but the information behind it to increase its value to you and your customers.
