photo by Jon Wyatt is the new website and blog from award-winning landscape photographer Jon Wyatt, known for his raw, primal landscapes and atmospheric high resolution panoramas.

Recent successes include honours for the environmental soft activism of the ‘Naked’ series in both the Prix de la Photographie, Paris and IPA awards. Shot in mountain ranges in five countries the subject matter of isolated figures in vast snowscapes highlight man's relationship with those fragile ecosystem.

Also well-received were a series from The High Tatras Mountains in Slovakia showing the devastation wreaked by a freak storm which hit with greater than hurricane force winds in 2004. Subsequent salvage logging has worsened the ecological disaster (see image).

Currently available for new projects and commissions.
