| NEWSLETTER - NOVEMBER 2004 |
| Searching for images in databases and search engines can often fail due to the difficulty of describing an image in a way that the search engine can understand. Our free Picture Search request service can help in these cases because your description will be emailed out to photographers with relevant collections and they can upload images onto the website for you to view. Humans can often understand what you want better than a computer can - after all, the photographers themselves are going to know best if they have suitable images! Recent successes include: 'person in bad weather', 'stepping stones leading to something' and 'person trying to light a fire with sticks'. If you are having trouble finding images, why not give it a try! Below is the latest news from some of your photographers: Photographers Direct - Fair Trade Photography. |
