Jacqueline Windh's first book "The Wild Edge", a 160-page photographic study of Vancouver Island's wild west coast, will be released in November (www.harbourpublishing.com). The main themes of her work continue to be wilderness and adventure, the environment, and indigenous people. Her ability to make contacts quickly and her facility with languages put her into situations where she can capture unique images. Exciting new projects will keep her travelling for most of 2005: - January to March in Chilean Patagonia, with likely side-trips to Argentina and Peru. - May in Hawai'i. - June through September on British Columbia's outer coast. - Late 2005 south Pacific (Cook Islands, Tahiti and more). | The Africa Image Library specialises in African travel photography including wildlife, culture and scenery from all over the African continent. The library consists of more than 30,000 images from Johannesburg based photographer Ariadne Van Zandbergen. For personalised help in finding the right photo, contact Ariadne herself.
