Now when you search for images on the Photographers Direct website you can specify the size you require so you can be sure all the images displayed are suitable for your purposes. Laura Jean Zito won the William Cadge Photography Award in the Cape May County Art League Annual Show and the Honorable Mention in the Plastic Club All Media Medal Exhibit with her first digital photo. Charles Ridgway is just back from a China tour with some excellent travel pictures on new Maglev Train Ride, Shanghai Waterfront, Yangtze River, Pudong Airport, and Three Gorges Dam, Beijing Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven. Chinese people, Xian Terra Cotta Warriers, Beijing Opera. Li River Cruise and Reed Flute Cave near Guilin etc. just posted on his website. UK Photographer Martin Fry runs his own Stock Picture Library of over 37,000 images from Norwich in Norfolk.

Martin shoots mainly for the Greetings card, Calendar & paper products markets and enjoys 'shooting' animals of all kinds, specialising on the cute and humorous kittens, puppies, and foals that the UK public adore.

The Library also contains, Flowers & Gardens, Still life (Occasions), Land and Seascapes, Kids & Teddy bears, also a growing section of digitally manipulated images (see photo). Martin added 500 images from a recent trip to Crete and his next trip is to Brittany.

Martin sometimes shoots to order (if subject is available) and if the image is not accepted he will just add it to the library at no extra charge.

LITANG HORSE FESTIVAL & RED HAT CEREMONY - KHAM, TIBET - Craig Lovell is heading on another great Tibetan adventure with cameras and writer on board. Craig will be covering the little known and untouristed Red Hat Buddhist festival in a remote corner of Kham. This is where a Buddhist diety enters the body of an Oracle who can then be asked questions. Following this adventure Craig and writer Bodhi Garrett are heading to the wild and woolly week long Litang Horse Festival. This is one of the great Tibetan Cultural Events that headlines the Tibetan Summer Festival season. The trip starts on July 20th and returning on August 15th. Belly Dancer Fantasy Book Planned.
Michael Campbell, a free-lance photographic artist originally from London now a resident of San Diego, has won many international awards with his fantasy portraits. He is currently working on a book of images using Belly Dancers as a theme. He photographs the models in his San Diego Studio and then produces a montage with an appropriate background which he creates in one of several ways. In the attached image "The Scorpion Princess" he photographed Indian dancer Meera in his studio then made a trip into the Anza Borrego desert to find the perfect background. He also sells the images as limited edition prints.
