The World Religions Photo Library stand attracted much interest at the BAPLA London Picture Buyer's Fair visited by 3000 picture researchers and publishers. New library stock includes the latest pictures of mosques and historic Buddhist sites in Afghanistan, Pagan and Jewish festivals and scenes from a service in the Apostolic Church. | Darrel Plowes has recent photos available of Dr Marge Courtenay-Latimer, former Director of the East London Museum in South Africa and who was responsible for bringing the first captured coelacanth fish (thought to be extinct for 80 million years) to scientific notice in 1938, next to the mounted fish. Also, shots of her holding the world's only known specimen of a Dodo egg that had been in her family's possession since the middle of the 1800's. Dr M C-L died at age 97 on 24 May 2004. | Thaddeus B Kubis will be traveling on assignment to Europe in June. He has a 10 day assignment in Tuscany, Rome and the Italian Riveria and will be imaging both digitally and with film. He is using a newly released Leica Digilux2 and an old trusty Leica M6's. He is also undertaking a number of New York City based projects as well as sailing events during the summer. In July he will be imaging a Sailing event in Newport, RI. This event will feature over 50 old style wooden sailing vessels and is a world class sailing event. | Image Info Toolkit 1.5.1 released BlueBox anounces that an up-date for the powerful but easy to learn IPTC reading and editing software is available online today. Image Info Toolkit now offers the option to change Multiframe Tiff files, which can not handle IPTC information and which are produced by some digital camera software, into regulary Tiff images.
