Fred R. Hight specializes in location photography, capturing a destination's color and mood. One of his current assignments is shooting transportation images for Planning Magazine. Fred's article and photography about vintage train rides was the feature for the Houston Chronicle's "Texas" magazine in January 2004. | Travel and people photographer and writer Victor Englebert has made a specialty of traveling off the tourist map, often far enough to have to get to his destinations riding camels or horses or walking with porters or pack donkeys and llamas. He has photographed over 30 tribal people in three continents. National Geographic published his stories nine times, and his 17 photo books include award-winning Wind, Sand and Silence: Travels with Africa's Last Nomads and Aborigines of the Rain Forest: the Yanomami. He recently won one of three grand prizes from the North American Travel Journalists Association for his article on Peru's Q'ero Indians. He is however planning a much tamer trip this time.
