Stan McQueen's photo of machinery at the historic Baron Woolen Mills in Brigham City, Utah, was recently chosen to be exhibited at the Springville, Utah, Museum of Art. The 2003 Spring Salon is the largest and most prestigious art exhibit in the state of Utah. Nearly 1000 entries were received - only about 20 photographs were chosen. Another photograph by Stan McQueen, that of a fly fisherman in a snowstorm, was selected as the Best of Show in the Professional Division at the 2002 Utah State Fair. Stan uses a variety of cameras to make his images, ranging from a 4x5 view camera to a Nikon Coolpix 5 megapixel digital camera. Using color, black and white, and infrared film, Stan has built up a sizeable inventory of images. Extensive travels have produced images from France, Australia, and throughout the United States.
