The evolution of underwater photography leads us to shoot the animal while it is doing something, interacting with its environment. The first thing is to understand what you have in front of your lens.
I am a marine biologist and PhD in marine sciences, underwater photographer since 1982. Every year I spends some months in Indonesia, diving and photographing.
As a biologist, I cooperate with the Polytechnic University of Le Marche, in research and education projects. I'am a free lance lecturer in reef ecology and diversity.
As underwater photographer and writer I cooperate with many diving magazines and publishers, italian and international.
Furthermore, I give courses and conferences on marine biology and underwater photography, also in cooperation with the Milan aquarium
