Publications: National Post, Globe & Mail, Toronto Star, Mundo Maya, Verge, WWF canada, MSF Canada, National Geographic

Background: At age 6 I began formal art lessons. I studied psycholody, genetics, and anthropology graduating from the University of Waterloo 1987. As an airline transport pilot working for a government airline and FSI/DeHavilland, I acquired nearly 6000 hours

Experience: My lifelong appreciation of indigenous cultures spurred me to renew my interest in photography. I moved to the Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico in 1993 to commence a long-term photographic ethnography of the K'ekchi, Mopan, and Lacandon Maya.
