Description: Capo Testa Lighthouse. The northernmost point of Sardinia island (Italy) - Capo Testa. Winds constantly blowing through the cape from all sides, carved out whimsical sculptural compositions out of huge, pink-cream granite rocks that resemble enormous heads ("testa" means "head"), figures of animals, domes of cathedrals, and even giant profiles of celebrities. Juniper bushes punch between the boulders and the bases of many-foot sculptures are decorated with bright yellow, purple, blue and red wildflowers. The only sign of civilization - a lighthouse, fits well in color and form in this fabulous granite park.
