I am a British freelance photographer based in the South of France. I studied Geography at the University of Nottingham and later Photography at Central St Martins in London. I worked overseas and in London for several years before moving to France in 2006.
I love the diversity of experiences that comes with being a photographer. My first big project took me across South Asia to photograph and interview children and families affected by the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami. Today, based in the small hilltop town of Vence overlooking the French Riviera, portrait and reportage commissions enable me to meet a wide range of people from Provençal artisans, truffle hunters, and asylum seekers to Michelin-starred chefs, artists and international CEOs.
